Have you booked your summer vacation yet? If you have, you may have realized that the prices of flying are on the rise due to the high gas prices. Airlines are finding it difficult to keep their low ticket prices while the cost of fuel is so high.
I booked my flight to Rhode Island a month ago. Today - I checked and the prices were almost double. What would I have done if I waited? I think about the tens of thousands of people that book "last minute" and wonder if they are worried about the prices. There are a few ways to keep the costs of travel low - even witht he high ticket prices.
The first solution? Affordable luggage. Finding name-brand luggage for low prices ensures that your luggage is durable and reliable. Damaged luggage is a huge cost for a person (not to mention extremely stressful). If you have just paid a lot of money for a plane ticket, don't risk spending more with old, unreliable luggage.
The second option is lightweight luggage. The latest and "greatest" airline news is that they bill you for luggage that weighs over 50lbs (example). Purchasing lightweight luggage helps you to avoid this cost while allowing you to pack more belongings.
My recommendation? Do some research and find decent, reliable luggage that is affordably priced!
